Bloomberg’s Robert Blau and Otis Bilodeau, who head the projects and investigations team, sent out the following to the staff:
We’re excited to announce that Brad Reagan will be joining our team as a senior editor based in London.
Brad has had a distinguished career guiding ambitious and memorable journalism, for the last 15 years at the Wall Street Journal. He’s led coverage in bureaus spanning banking, sports, tech and energy. Most recently, he has been an enterprise editor in the Journal’s London bureau guiding some of the paper’s highest-profile stories.
He has edited award-winning investigations into the downfall of Pimco’s Bill Gross, sexual-assault allegations against casino mogul Steve Wynn, and the effects of toxic fumes on airline crews and passengers. Another award-winning project he oversaw, called The Facebook Files, is being made into a feature film written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, due to be released later this year.
A native Texan, Brad began his career writing obituaries at the local newspaper and later worked as a freelance writer in Brooklyn for almost a decade. He lives in East Dulwich, in south London, with his wife and son.
His first day is June 22.
