The Los Angeles Times has hired Audrey McGlinchy to cover income and affordability.
She has been a Knight-Bagehot fellow at Columbia University for the past year.
McGlinchy previously covered housing as a senior reporter at KUT News, Austin’s public radio station. Her work has aired on NPR’s Morning Edition, All Things Considered and Planet Money. In 2021, she received a national Edward R. Murrow award for her feature reporting.
She is a graduate of Wesleyan University.
