Las Vegas Business Press shuts print publication

The Las Vegas Business Press has stopped publishing a print version, but will continue as an online publication.

The business weekly has published in print for 34 years. Its main competition for business news has been Vegas Inc., a publication of the Las Vegas Sun.

Glenn Cook, the managing editor of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, confirmed the change. The business newspaper is owned by the daily.

It’s undetermined whether the content on the Business Press website will come from the Review-Journal, said Cook.

According to an online directory, the publication has 12,500 subscribers. Its website listed three editorial staffers — an editor, a staff writer and a copy editor.

Its editor, Lyn Collier, is also the real estate editor of the Review-Journal.
