WSJ Pro seeks venture capital reporter in San Fran

WSJ Pro is looking for a thoughtful and energetic reporter to write about venture capital for our specialist readers.

Based in San Francisco, this reporter will focus on the venture investments that fuel innovation across the world economy. We need a versatile reporter who can handle several daily stories and help with building graphics while also pursuing longer-term stories.

We take a hard-eyed and probing approach to covering startups and their backers, serving our VC readers with full and deep daily coverage of venture capital news.

We also specialize in data journalism centered on our in-house data. Our new hire should be intrigued by finding significant trends within data-sets. The role would suit a journalist with a year or two of business journalism experience who is looking to learn a specialist beat.

Applications should include a resume, cover letter, and up to five published clips.
