Bloomberg Press, the book division of Bloomberg LP, will become an imprint of John Wiley, according to an announcement Thursday from the company.
Wiley will also take over the publication of books using the BusinessWeek name. Bloomberg acquired BusinessWeek in December.
Wiley and Bloomberg plan to work closely to extend the Bloomberg and BusinessWeek brands to long-form content in books and other formats.
“As one of the foremost book publishers for professionals, Wiley is the ideal custodian of the Bloomberg and Bloomberg BusinessWeek brands, and we are delighted with this new relationship,” said Bloomberg editor in chief Matthew Winkler in a statement.

It had been reported back in November that Bloomberg planned to close its book operations once it completed the deal for BusinessWeek.
