The Indianapolis Star is getting help from the local chamber of commerce in covering community business news, according to a story in Friday’s paper.
Dan McFeely wrote, “Today on pages 7 and 8, you will see the second installment of a weekly Fishers Business section inside Fishers Star — a section on the local business community.
“In a special arrangement with the chamber, we’re doing this by combining the knowledge and talents of the chamber’s staff and our own to produce stories and photos that will run every Friday in print and online at http://www.fishersstar.com/
“I must confess, it wasn’t my idea.
“Chamber President Christi Wolf called a few months ago and wanted to know what she could do to help us cover the local business community.
“While we still use our own staff to cover important business-related meetings, such as the local Plan Commission and this week’s State of the Town address, we’re glad to get the help in covering other aspects of local business news — just as we welcome story contributions from others under our ‘News From You’ heading.”
