Hyde moves to Bloomberg TV’s afternoon lineup in New York

Caroline Hyde, previously co-host of “Bloomberg Markets” from London, has moved to New York to become part of Bloomberg Television’s afternoon lineup.

That includes co-hosting “Bloomberg Markets: Americas” and “What’d you Miss?” from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Hyde joined Bloomberg in 2008 to cover the European debt markets for Bloomberg News as a corporate finance reporter, focusing on company loans and bonds as well as sovereign debt. She made the switch to broadcast in 2011 and most recently was the European technology and media correspondent for “Bloomberg Technology.”

She also anchored “On The Move,” Bloomberg TV’s market-opening show in London alongside co-anchor Guy Johnson.

Hyde co-hosted “Bloomberg Technology” from December 2016 to May 2017 from San Francisco.

  • Any ideas at to what is happening to her former 10am ET/ 3pm UK slot, and for the following 11am ET/4pm UK slot of 'European Close' - Mark Barton's bio has been removed from the Bloomberg website? Is there no more afternoon programming from Europe, very disappointing if so?
