Huffington Post biz reporter Ferro leaving for law school

Shane Ferro, a business reporter for the Huffington Post, is leaving at the end of the week to attend law school.

Ferro plans to study law at Columbia University, she told Talking Biz News.

Ferro has been with Huffington Post for the past year, covering the new economy and the future of work. Before that, Ferro was a reporter at Business Insider, where her reporting included stories about inequality, employment, the gender wage gap, and how everyday life intersects with economics.

Ferro also previously worked at Reuters, where she wrote the Counterparties email analyzing the day’s most important business news story. She also created and wrote for the Equals blog, writing and editing posts on gender, economics, and education, and aggregated the best business and economics reporting daily for Counterparties.com.

Ferro is a 2011 graduate of Columbia University.
