Richard Metcalf is joining GlobalCapital in London as a people and markets editor overseeing coverage of people moves, bank strategies, capital markets regulation and fintech.
He joins from Power, Finance & Risk in New York where he was editor for 6 years providing insight into power and renewables project finance and M&A, including capital markets activity.
Both GlobalCapital and Power, Finance & Risk are owned by Euromoney Institutional Investor.
Metcalf has also worked at GlobalCapital before as a reporter covering European investment-grade loan and corporate bond markets. He has also served as a writer/researcher, then as an assistant publisher and then as an assistant editor at Chambers and Partners.
Metcalf is a graduate of the University of Bath.
