Fox Business Network has promoted Gary Schreier to senior vice president of programming and Tom Bowman to vice president of programming.
Schreier will oversee all programming, talent and editorial content for Fox Business while Bowman will manage day-to-day business coverage, planning and special programming.
Both will continue to report to network head Brian Jones.
“Gary and Tom’s leadership and programming insights have been instrumental in the network’s ratings success, most recently surpassing CNBC as the No. 1 financial news channel for the past two quarters,” said Jones in a statement.
Schreier joined Fox News as a producer in 1996, and moved to Fox Business when the network launched in 2007 as the executive producer for senior vice president and managing director of business news Neil Cavuto.
From 2012-2015, he was the executive producer of CNBC’s “Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo” and returned to Fox Business in 2015 as vice president of programming.
Previously, Bowman served as Fox Business Network’s director of programming, a role to which he was promoted in 2015. He joined Fox Business in 2009 as the executive producer of Don Imus’ “Imus in the Morning” simulcast.
In this role, he integrated additional business content to the program, making it the network’s highest-rated show.
