Fortune reporter Jen Wieczner is leaving the publication for a job at New York Magazine.
She will start her new job on April 5 and be a features writer covering business, tech, Wall Street and cryptocurrency.
Wieczner covers finance, health care and big business for Fortune, which she joined in 2013 after covering health care and the Affordable Care Act for MarketWatch and The Wall Street Journal.
Her stories have included profiles of hedge fund billionaire Steve Cohen; Jonathan Bush, a member of the presidential family determined to revolutionize the health care industry; and Mylan CEO Heather Bresch and her many controversies, from hostile takeovers to EpiPen price hikes.
She has also written features on various other business topics, from Best Buy’s women-led turnaround; a pioneering female activist hedge fund manager; the IRS’ struggles with cybersecurity; and a disturbing series of suicides on Wall Street.
