Kayla Epstein, former general assignments reporter for The Washington Post, has left the publication to join Business Insider as the organization’s new politics reporter.
Her new role begins Monday, based in Washington.
She started her career at The Post in 2016 as an audience editor for the National desk. Before that, she was a social journalism editor for The New School. Epstein also held the posts of intern, social media producer and engagement editor at Guardian News and Media.
She has also served as a communications aide, social media for New York City Independent Budget Office. Additionally, she has worked as a press intern, research assistant, staff writer and editorial intern at various places.
Epstein holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism, English and American literature from New York University.
