Tech news site dotLA has hired Harrison Weber to cover venture capital as its senior reporter.
Weber has been with Flipboard for the past two years as its breaking news editor, editing and writing breaking news alerts sent to millions of readers. He also ran Flipboard’s weekly Climate Change newsletter and curate Flipboard’s first video product, Flipboard TV, and worked with the product team on quality control.
He previously was a senior news editor at Gizmodo and news editor and then executive editor at VentureBeat.
Weber also worked at The Next Web and WeWork. And as a freelancer, he’s been published in Fast Company and Gizmodo, among others.
