The Denver Business Journal has named Alicia Cohn as managing editor.
Cohn steps in to fill an open position created when the previous managing editor, Kourtney Geers, was named editor-in-chief in May.
Cohn has more than 10 years of experience, and previously contributed to The Washington Post, The Atlantic, Quartz, The Denver Post, DCist and The Colorado Statesman among others. Her bylines have also appeared in Fox News and MSNBC.
She was an associate editor, assignment editor and senior editor at The Hill. She has also reported for the Washington Examiner.
Cohn is a graduate of Wheaton College.
