Tech news site Gizmodo has hired Raymond Wong to be senior editor of consumer technology.
“Specifically, the consumer tech section is being rebooted and rebuilt,” he wrote on Twitter. “We’re going to move as fast as we can and have fun covering the technology products, software, and services that run our lives.”
Wong has been freelancing for the past nine months. He previously was deputy editor of reviews at Inverse.com. He also spent six years at Mashable cover technology.
Wong is a graduate of Hunter College.
