Ben Fox Rubin, a senior reporter at CNET, is leaving the technology news site for a job at Mastercard.
His last day is Friday. “I have loved my time at CNET and as a reporter. It’s sad to leave but I’m excited to see what’s next,” he said on Twitter.
He has been with CNET since 2014 covering Amazon, e-commerce and payments, and he was the co-creator of CNET’s daily podcast The Daily Charge. He previously spent three years on The Wall Street Journal’s real-time news desk.
Rubin also worked for newspapers in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York.
