CNBC.com launched “NetNet” on Friday. It’s a new section of its Web site, run by John Carney, that will cover the markets.
Carney is a senior editor at CNBC.com, covering Wall Street, hedge funds, financial regulation and other business news. Prior to joining CNBC.com, Carney was the editor of Clusterstock.com and DealBreaker.com.
Other writers for the site include Kate Kelly, a reporter focusing on Wall Street; Herb Greenberg, a senior stocks commentator; Jeff Cox, a staff writer with CNBC.com covering the gamut of issues affecting the stock market and the economy; and Lori Spechler, a senior editor at CNBC, contributor to CNBC.com and a former trader/market maker in commodity options.
On Friday, the posts ran the gamut from the silver market to Wall Street analysts and their views on banks as well as coverage of Goldman Sachs closing is proprietary equity trading division.
