Spriha Srivastava, deputy editor at CNBC International, is departing the network to join Business Insider as an executive editor leading the London newsroom.
Her new role begins Jan. 13.
Before joining CNBC, Srivastava served as a senior staff writer at Financial Times and was a EMEA producer at Thomson Reuters.
She also held the post of reporter/foreign correspondent at Vox Africa and a copy editor at India & Global Affairs.
Srivastava has done a business journalism program from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a M.A. in international journalism from City, University of London.
