Business news network CNBC is increasing the number of reporters in attendance and stories that it will cover at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, calling the effort in a news release its “largest presence ever.”
CNBC will have anchors Maria Bartiromo, Becky Quick, Geoff Cutmore and Ross Westgate on the ground giving viewers interviews and analysis with the attending CEOs, economists, policy makers and heads of state.
CNBC.com will have a dedicated section at http://davos.cnbc.com, which will host all interviews from the event, as well as exclusive news reports, blogs from reporters and presenters including Bartiromo and Quick, plus a behind-the-scenes ‘Heard in Davos‘ blog.  There will also be exclusive guest articles each day from CEOs and economists and daily reader polls on news coming out of the event.
Viewers will also have the opportunity to have their questions put directly to delegates, via e-mail to Davos@cnbc.com.
CNBC’s presence at the event will also see its local language affiliates reporting live, including TVN CNBC Biznes (Poland); CNBC TV18 (India); CNBC-e (Turkey); CNBC Arabiya and CNBC Africa.  CNBC is now in its fifth year as an official World Economic Forum partner.
