Chin departing Business Insider for The Verge

Monica Chin

Tech reporter Monica Chin will be joining The Verge where she will be covering laptops.

She will start next Tuesday.

Chin is making the transition from Business Insider where she was senior technology reporter. She has been at Business Insider since August 2019.

Before joining Business Insider, Chin was a staff writer for Tom’s Guide. She also served as a tech editorial fellow at Mashable and MarketWatch intern. She also held the post of editor-in-chief at iFLIP4 and The Brown Daily Herald Inc.

Chin received her bachelor’s degree in literary arts from Brown University.
