Byers starting email newsletter on biz and tech for NBC

NBC News senior media reporter Dylan Byers is launching an email newsletter later this month called “Byers Market.”

NBC News president Noah Oppenheim sent the below note to staff today:

I am pleased to announce Byers Market —  a new, daily email newsletter from our senior media reporter, Dylan Byers, launching later this month.

The newsletter will offer readers an unvarnished peek behind the curtains of power in Silicon Valley, Hollywood, New York and Washington, and will give insight into the minds of those making today’s most important decisions in business and technology. It will have a strong focus on breaking news, as well smart analysis of how these industries are affecting our daily lives.

Byers Market is the next step in expanding our Business and Tech Unit, which increasingly has been at the forefront of covering the tech industry. They scored exclusive interviews with the Reddit CEO and Facebook’s former security chief last week alone.

I hope you will be among the first to sign up for Byers Market (link here), it promises to very quickly become a morning “must-read” for industry leaders and consumers alike.
