“Business Insider Today,” a daily business news program created for Facebook Watch, will launch later on Monday.
The show features business news and digital storytelling. The premiere of Business Insider Today streams live today at 5 p.m. ET on Facebook.
Business Insider founder Henry Blodget will be one of the anchors, as will Sara Silverstein. They both anchored “The Bottom Line,” a recent business show produced by Business Insider.
“New video platforms – especially Facebook Watch – give us great potential to tell business stories in an exciting new way,’ said Nicholas Carlson, global editor-in-chief of Business Insider, in a statement.
“‘Business Insider Today’ brings Business Insider to life in video. The show combines the compelling content of traditional TV news magazines with a pace, format, and visual style made for how people consume content today: on their devices and via social platforms like Facebook.”
Each episode of “Business Insider Today” is eight minutes long and will cover a broad mix of business stories, including company and executive profiles, trends, and looks at popular, emerging and under-the-radar brands.
