Business Insider has hired Paayal Zaveri as a senior tech reporter in San Francisco.
Zaveri will cover enterprise technology with a focus on the cloud.
She has been a field producer at CNBC’s San Francisco bureau covering tech, tech policy and California economy for the network’s broadcast, website and digital platforms.
Zaveri graduated from the University of California, Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism in May 2017, where she focused on multimedia reporting. Her work has been published in CNBC, NBC Asian America, KQED Public Radio, San Francisco Public Press and Richmond Confidential.
She’s a board member for both the Asian American Journalists Association SF Bay Area chapter and the Society of Professional Journalists Northern California Chapter.
