James Bessette, a researcher at Providence Business News, has been promoted to special sections editor.
“Appreciate the people here and the chance to keep building a solid product,” he wrote on Twitter.
Bessette has been with the publication since February 21018. He previously was a copy editor at the Newport Daily News and a reporter for the North Kingstown Independent, which are both Rhode Island newspapers. He is president of the Rhode Island Press Association.
