Tina Sfondeles will be joining the Business Insider D.C. bureau as a politics correspondent covering the Joe Biden campaign.
Previously, Sfondeles has been with the Chicago Sun-Times for more than 12 years, joining the company as a transportation/breaking news reporter. She then held the post of general assignment reporter/political reporter and most recently holds the post of chief political reporter at the publication.
In addition, Sfondeles has also served as an adjunct professor at Loyola University teaching business and professional speaking, public speaking and critical thinking, reporting and writing across platforms and advanced reporting.
She was also a news writer for WBBM-AM reporting and re-writing breaking news stories.
Sfondeles has a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia College Chicago.
