Business Insider has hired Alanis King Jones to be an associate editor on its transportation team.
She has been a staff writer and a weekend editor at Jalopnik for the last four years. She will work at Jalopnik through next week.
“The opportunity and role BI has offered me is huge, and it’s an honor that I was even considered, let alone chosen,” she wrote on Twitter. “I am thrilled to join their team, which is both growing and doing some incredible original reporting at the same time.”
She will remain based in Texas.
Jones has also been a contributing writer at National Speed Sport News and Autoweek.
