Steve Gibb has left the Bloomberg Environment news operation to take a position as science communications manager at the International Life Sciences Institute — North America.
In that role he will be working on food safety and nutrition topics as well as environmental health issues.
He had been at Bloomberg for nearly four years. Before Bloomberg, Gibb was a senior editor at Chemical and Engineering News.
He won a local news award in 2008 from the Society for Professional Journalists for an article unearthing a closely held EPA finding that a fuel additive (MTBE) is carcinogenic.
