Bloomberg News reporter Naomi Nix has been named to cover Facebook, Snap and other social media companies.
She has been covering corporate influence in politics and tech policy in the Washington bureau.
Previously, she served as the Newark city hall and education reporter for The Star-Ledger, the largest newspaper in New Jersey. In that role, Naomi led the newspaper’s coverage of the city’s first mayoral election after Sen. Cory Booker took office in Washington D.C. She also worked for The Chicago Tribune and The 74.
Her work has also appeared in The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Atlantic, and Princeton Alumni Weekly.
Nix graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a certificate in African-American studies.
