Keith Grossman, chief revenue officer at Bloomberg, has joined marketing and technology group Engine as chief operating officer, reports Patrick Coffee of Adweek.

Coffee reports, “Grossman spent the last five years at Bloomberg Media, where he led digital products and ad sales before being promoted to chief revenue officer in late 2016. He previously held similar positions at other major media companies such as Condé Nast and Wired. He has frequently appeared in various publications, including Adweek, which named him to its Adweek 50 list for five years in a row.

“‘I’ve built my career by working at the intersection of technology and publishing, seeing first-hand the enormous opportunity that exists for publishers, advertisers and brands who are willing to be disruptive and create the trends that have reshaped the industry over the past several decades,’ Grossman said in his own statement. ‘I see that same spirit alive in Engine and its people. I’m inspired by Kasha’s vision for this company and look forward to working together to unlock our potential and build a better model for the industry.’

“According to a party with direct knowledge of the matter, Andrew Bennett, the former Havas executive who joined Bloomberg as global chief commercial officer in late 2017, will replace Grossman in an interim capacity.”
