Bloomberg Pursuits editor at large Chris Rovzar has been hired to be editor of Page Six at the New York Post, reports Lachlan Cartwright of Breaker.
Cartwright reports, “Rovzar is a veteran of the gossip columns, having previously reported for ‘Rush and Molloy’ at The New York Daily News before going on to stints at New York Magazine and Vanity Fair. He joined Bloomberg in 2014 to lead its luxury vertical, Bloomberg Pursuits.
“’Page Six is legendary and stepping into this role is a rare opportunity,’ Rovzar said. ‘I’m looking forward to building on the column’s rich history, finding new audiences, breaking big stories, and bringing readers the personalities and cultural moments they can’t get anywhere else. This is going to be so much fun.’
“Rovzar will start Monday with a mandate to modernize the column and bring it to more platforms, including newsletters and podcasts, as it approaches its 50th anniversary.”
