Black Enterprise magazine has hired Stacey Tisdale as a senior content producer with a focus on personal finance.
“Stacey serves as a great addition to the Black Enterprise content team and expansion of our Wealth for Life franchise,” said Derek Dingle, chief content officer, in a statement. “Adding talent of this caliber brings us closer to our goal of being a central hub for the highest-quality opinion and analysis of financial news across our media platforms.
Tisdale has reported on business and financial issues for more than 15 years. She has authored the book, “The True Cost of Happiness: The Real Story Behind Managing Your Money.” From 2002 to 2004, she reported for all of the CNN networks, filing business and consumer reports for CNN, Headline News and Marketsource, CNN’s affiliate service, serving more than 600 local stations.
Moreover, Tisdale has also reported for “Inside Africa”, a weekly news magazine show on CNN International and a nationally syndicated program created by BusinessWeek TV called “Money Talk.”
“It is an honor to join this organization,” said Tisdale in a statement. “We look forward to using the BE media arsenal to help people and businesses use their financial resources to make the grandest statement of who they at this unique time in history.”
Tisdale’s journalistic career began at Dow Jones & Co. For several years, she produced, wrote, reported and hosted programming for Wall Street Journal Television, which is now CNBC. Prior to that, Tisdale was a writer for Dow Jones newswire service, Telerate.
She graduated from Marymount College in 1988, where she studied international business and finance, and attended Polytechnic of Central London in England.
