Tammy Tierney, the editor of BizWomen, an American City Business Journals publication, is leaving after two years.

Tierney writes, “I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to edit Bizwomen for the past two years, and thank Whit Shaw, the CEO of Bizwomen’s parent company, American City Business Journals. With his support, we’ve told the stories of hundreds of exceptional women and published the news and analysis that matters to them most each business day.

“I’m also very grateful to Ellen Sherberg, who had the original vision for Bizwomen and has held it ever since. She’s been a wonderful partner and is the site’s biggest champion.

“Bizwomen’s columnists – Ellen, along with Alana Muller, Janice Lopez, Rachel Shomate, Ursula Mead and Tina VonderHaar – have added their unique insights to Bizwomen and enhanced our site.

“And I’m so appreciative of the fine work of our dedicated team; Anne Stych, Caitlin Mullen and Betsey Guzior, who will be taking the helm.”
