Noelle Acheson, managing director of research, CoinDesk, is leaving to join Genesis working on the evolution of the crypto market from the other side of the desk.
Her last working day is May 31.
Acheson has been with CoinDesk for close to five years and was covering crypto asset markets. She has also served as an editorial producer, then as a product lead – institutional crypto and then as director of research.
She has also taught blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies at business schools, and has advised startups, as well as writing and speaking at events such as The National Congress of Digital Media.
She was also global treasurer and VP tech at PWN Global.
She was also founder and CEO of fiestafacil.com which was established in 2000 as the first online retailer in the party goods sector in Spain.
Additionally, she has also worked at Eagle Star Gestion, where she analyzed the Spanish stock and bond markets among other tasks.
Acheson has also served as a companies and market analyst, Spain, at LCF Edmund de Rothschild and was a stockbroker and then a corporate finance analyst at ScotiaMcLeod.
She was also a mining project analyst, preparing financial models and reports for the Mining Investment department, and has worked as a fund management analyst at Consolidated Gold Fields PLC.
Acheson is a graduate of Brown University.
