American City Business Journals will launch the Cleveland Business Journal later this month, reports Jon Wile, vice president of content for the Charlotte-based company.
Wile reports, “The Cleveland Business Journal will be a digital-only site, publishing daily. The launch date is set for May 18. Stories published by the Cleveland Business Journal will be shared across its 43 sister business journals. The site also will publish relevant news and information from other ACBJ cities in the network, such as Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Chicago, Pittsburgh and Louisville.
“The launch will further solidify ACBJ’s market-leading position for business professionals in Ohio, where it operates in three cities: Columbus Business First, Cincinnati Business Courier and Dayton Business Journal. For the business community in Cleveland, having ACBJ in the market will provide a larger spotlight on the region for potential investors, customers and partners across the country.
“The move has been in the works for about 18 months, according to ACBJ executives, as the company sought to tap into Cleveland’s growing economy and respond to interest from readers and advertisers in the region. ACBJ drives more online traffic from Northeast Ohio than any other region where it does not currently have a presence.”
