Yahoo Finance rolls out premium offerings, new content

Yahoo Finance, which has more unique visitors and page views than any other U.S. business news site, is launching a premium version and new content.

The prices range from the Bronze Plan at $9.95 a month, a Silver Plan at $24.95 a month, to the Gold Plan at $49.95 a month. A 20% discount is available if a subscriber agrees to pay for a year.

A free plan unlocks extra access beyond the default Yahoo Finance experience, by creating an account or signing in to Yahoo Finance.

“With new programs that meet people where they are, expert takes from influential voices, and greater access to information and tools often restricted to industry professionals, we can better serve the needs of investors of today and tomorrow, whether they’re everyday consumers or more advanced investors,” said Tapan Bhat, president and general manager of Yahoo Finance, in a statement.

The new content includes “Wealth,” a personal finance show,  and “Catalysts,” which will analyze economic data to help investors navigate their portfolios and will launch April 29. “Asking for a Trend” will cover the influential trends of the day and will launch May 20.

New podcasts will launch on April 22 and be available on Yahoo Finance and connected TV platforms. They include “Opening Bid,” a daily morning show focused on market perspectives hosted by executive editor Brian Sozzi, and “Stocks in Translation,” a twice-weekly show hosted by anchor and global markets reporter Jared Blikre featuring strategists decoding the day’s market moves.

Yahoo Finance is also launching a new partnership with Morning Brew. The first step in the partnership is the “Morning Brew Daily” video podcast, a daily talk show hosted by Neal Freyman and Toby Howell covering the latest news on business and the economy.
