WSJ reporter Ackerman, laid off last month, returns

Wall Street Journal reporter Andrew Ackerman, who was part of the publication’s layoffs in Washington last month, is returning to his job.

He covers how Washington oversees Wall Street, with a focus on bank regulation, housing and consumer finance.

Ackerman had been with the Washington bureau since 2013. He previously spent two years at Dow Jones Newswires and also worked at The Bond Buyer as a regulatory affairs reporter.

Ackerman is a graduate of Emory University.
