
The Wall Street Journal has hired Roberto Ferdman as a senior video correspondent.
Ferdman is an award-winning video and print journalist with over a decade of experience producing and writing news segments, documentaries, and reported articles. His work spans a wide range of topics, including food economics and policy, immigration, education, economics, politics, climate, and criminal justice.
From 2016 to 2024, Ferdman was an on-air correspondent and producer for Vice News and HBO’s nightly news and documentary show, “Vice News Tonight.” Before that, he was a staff reporter for The Washington Post covering a wide variety of topics, including economics, business, food policy, and poverty.
He also worked at Quartz.
Ferdman has won several awards, including two Emmy Awards for television reporting, a Polk Award, and an Edward Murrow Award. His work has received many other award nominations.
He is a graduate of Brown University.
