Emilie Heidemann, a reporter at the Wisconsin State Journal, has taken over the role of housing reporter. She will continue to focus on the local economy but will have less of an emphasis on technology.
Heidemann worked as a community reporter, photographer, page designer, community/business editor and government reporter at Unified Newspaper Group in Wisconsin.
She worked at various Wisconsin papers, including Lodi Enterprise/Poynette Press, The Waushara Argus/Resorter and The Advance-Titan.
In 2019, her environmental reporting placed third in the Wisconsin Newspaper Association Better Newspaper Contest.
Heidemann has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
