Wall Street Journal publisher Almar Latour spoke with Fernando Augusto Pacheco on the “The Stack” podcast to discuss its focus and how it maintains its unique value proposition.
“Dow Jones is about reliable information for people to make decisions in their business life and their personal lives,” said Latour.
He noted the increase in misinformation and opinion not backed by facts as a reason why the Journal succeeds.
“There is a premium in your life, on reliability of information,” said Latour. “As a business, we can treat this as a premium product.”
Latour says it narrates what’s happening in the business world and providing a lens — a unique angle — is its strength.
