Business Insider senior reporter Geoff Weiss is rejoining the media desk.
He will focus on companies such as YouTube and Netflix. Weiss has been covering the creator economy.
Prior to joining Insider, Weiss served as the senior editor of Tubefilter, one of the first websites to exclusively cover the digital media industry. At Tubefilter, he helped shape editorial strategy, with daily hits about key policy decisions and product developments at YouTube, the evolution of monetization and influencer marketing, and larger investigations into industry trends and creator controversies.
Prior to joining Tubefilter, he was an early follower of the creator economy as a staff writer at Entrepreneur, writing feature profiles and viral lists about key figures.
Geoff holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from New York University.
