Janani Jana

Washington Business Journal editor Douglas Fruehling posted the following on LinkedIn:

I’m pleased to announce that Janani Jana will be joining the Washington Business Journal as one half of our commercial real estate reporting team, with a focus on suburban Washington.

Janani just received her master’s in journalism from Northwestern’s Medill School. She has a bachelor’s degree from Christ University in Bangalore, India.

She previously worked at both BW Businessworld and NDTV Profit, which are print, digital and broadcast outlets covering business and finance in India. While at Northwestern, she had internships at the Chicago Sun-Times and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

She’ll be relocating to D.C. in January with a start date of Jan. 15.

Please join me in congratulating Janani!
