Triangle Biz Journal publisher leaves for ACBJ jobs

Jason Christie, the publisher of the Triangle Business Journal in Raleigh, is leaving for a job at the parent company American City Business Journals.

Christie is becoming senior director of enterprise sales.

“I’ve loved my 9+ years leading this market and have worked with some amazing people,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “I’ve also forged many lifelong friendships in the community along the way. I’ll cherish those forever.”

Christie previously was director of advertising at the Charlotte Business Journal. He also worked as an audience solutions sales manager for MLive Media in Michigan.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
