Jack Sommers has been hired by CNBC as head of digital news for EMEA.
He will oversee all editorial content for CNBC.com across the Europe and Middle East region, with a focus on business, markets, economics, and technology.
Sommers holds nearly two decades of journalism experience, including senior roles at Business Insider, where he served as senior editor, interim UK lead editor and deputy editor. He also worked at HuffPost as assistant news editor.
Sommers holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
