Travel industry news site Skift has hired Tim Mullaney to take over its travel technology coverage.
He will start May 16.
Mullaney will write the Travel Tech Briefing and Travel Startup Funding columns as well as stories.
Mullaney has been a financial journalist for more than three decades. He has held positions like national economics correspondent at USA Today and e-business editor of BusinessWeek. Before that, he was a reporter for Bloomberg News, The Sun, and Dow Jones Newswires. His freelance work has appeared on CNBC, TheStreet, The New York Times, and The Motley Fool.
Mullaney graduated from the University of Maryland with a JD in law and from Columbia with a Master of Science in journalism. He also holds an undergraduate degree from The Catholic University of America in politics.
