
Megan Boyanton has been hired by the Seattle Times as a general assignment business reporter covering tribal business, Seattle area economic drivers and more.
She previously was at the Denver Post covering Denver neighborhoods, but also previously covered the state’s marijuana industry and social inequalities in business.
Boyanton previously reported on the agriculture and trade policy beat for Bloomberg Government on Capitol Hill. She served as vice chair of the Guild at Bloomberg Industry Group and co-chair of OPEN, the company’s LGBT+ organization. She is a member of the Overseas Press Club and North American Agricultural Journalists.
She graduated from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication with her master’s degree in mass communication.
