Longtime Wall Street Journal staffer Geoffrey Rogow has left the publication and started a newsletter After Treatment about life after cancer.

Rogow is former deputy coverage chief for Life & Work at The Journal in New York. He helped lead our reporting on personal technology, personal finance, health and wellness, travel and consumer, and careers.

Prior to his role on the Life & Work team, Rogow was the Journal’s investing editor, driving coverage of hedge funds, asset managers, pensions, insurance, tax and Berkshire Hathaway.

Before that, Rogow was a reporter for the Journal and Dow Jones for more than a decade, covering everything from high-frequency trading to natural disasters. He was a markets correspondent for much of the lead-up to and fallout from the 2008 financial crisis.

He also spent several years in Sydney, Australia, as a regional economics reporter for the Journal.
