Reuters has named Scott Murdoch as its lead writer for Asia finance and markets.
He previously was Asia capital markets correspondent.
Murdoch has been a journalist for more than two decades working for Reuters and News Corp. in Australia. He has specialized in financial journalism for most of his career and covers equity and debt capital markets across Asia and Australian mergers and acquisitions.
He is based in Sydney. Murdoch holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Queensland.
