Kayla Epstein, a senior political reporter at Business Insider, is leaving the news organization for a new opportunity.
She joined in 2020 after being a general assignments reporter for The Washington Post.
She started her career at The Post in 2016 as an audience editor for the National desk. Before that, she was a social journalism editor for The New School. Epstein also held the posts of intern, social media producer and engagement editor at Guardian News and Media.
She has also served as a communications aide, social media for New York City Independent Budget Office. Additionally, she has worked as a press intern, research assistant, staff writer and editorial intern at various places.
Epstein holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism, English and American literature from New York University.
