
Politico has tapped Katherine Hapgood to report on financial services and small business policy in Congress.
She has been interning for the publication.
Hapgood has been an investigative policy reporter at the Center for Public Integrity and a student researcher for the investigative desk at the Washington Post. She was also a data fellow at the Center for Public Integrity.
She has written for several publications including Mother Jones, Washington City Paper, The Maine Monitor, MetroWest Daily News, the Boston Globe, The Center for Public Integrity, the Alexandria Times and Civil Service World (UK).
Hapgood holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a master’s degree from American University.
