New York Times + Washington Post = eight media moves

Big moves for the Big Dogs: The Washington Post has named Shadi Hamid as a columnist and editorial board member, Alexi McCammond as an opinions editor and Tara McCarty as a visual enterprise editor. And at the New York Times, Matthew Futterman and Tyler Kepner are joining The Athletic; Lauren Reddy and Liriel Higa are moving up as directors of audience; and Arran Bardige is now executive director of audience.
